BIG DECISIONS, a sexuality curriculum for 8th-12th grade, is now online.
BIG DECISIONS™ has been revised and updated. The August 2007 version is now posted for FREE download at http://www.bigdecisions.org/uploads/BIG_DECISIONS_Sexuality_Curriculum_8_07.pdf.

Evaluation of the Project WORTH implementation of BIG DECISIONS™ in San Antonio high schools found that the curriculum was well-received, with 85% of students rating the lessons as “Great” or “Good”. We are encouraged to find that, for every item on the Pre-Test and Post-Test, students demonstrated improvement (movement in the desired direction) in their average responses. Improvements were seen in attitudes and intentions about abstinence, and also in attitudes about contraception. BIG DECISIONS™ is an “Abstinence-Plus” Sexuality Curriculum suitable for 8th through 12th grades and consists of 10 sessions. It uses active learning; is inexpensive to implement; and meets the requirements of Texas Law (TEC §28.004). BIG DECISIONS™ is medically accurate and up-to-date. It offers young people basic information they need to make healthy, informed decisions about sex.
