Dr. Alvin L. Brekken is presented with the 10th Annual Baden-Gibbs Award
Dr. Brekken, currently the Assistant to the Executive Director of the American Board of Ob/Gyn, has been instrumental in his career. Dr. Brekken is one of the best known and best-loved residency program directors, beginning back in his military career, and continuing through his years at St. Paul and UT/Southwestern. It was estimated that he has trained several hundred residents during his career. In addition, he has served on many committees and boards at both the national and state level, dedicated to advancing women's health care.
