| 2008 Annual Meeting Highlights |
Fort Worth put on it's best "Cow Town" hat and gave us a wonderful time as promised!!
Our Program Chair, Dr. Ralph Anderson, recruited excellent speakers and experts in Ob/Gyn to provide our education, and our local events coordinator, Dr. G. Doug Tatum, put together a wonderful social calendar which showcased the wonderful changes in downtown Fort Worth.
The 16th Annual Texas Junior Fellow Resident Research Symposium, held on Thursday, showcased endeavors of 21 of our brightest residents' research endeavors. See highlights and the winning papers listed on the right.
We were delighted to have Dr. John Calkins, Chair of District VII, join us as we celebrated becoming our own District XI in ACOG, as well as Dr. Douglas Laube, Past President of ACOG, and Dr. Peter Schwartz, ACOG Vice President.
Our special Guest Speakers were our own Dr. Raymond Kaufman (Houston) who presented his namesake lecture, and Dr. Claudel Jean-Pierre, (Houston), who served as the McGanity Lecturer.
All of the faculty gave up to date information for our members and the program was rated highly by all attendees.
