ACOG Committees and Councils: Appointments Process
ACOG has begun the process for appointing members to Congress and College committees for 2012-2013. President Elect James T. Breeden, MD, will review applications for 2012-2013 committee appointments in November 2011. Please see the attached memo from Elsa P. Brown requesting applications for committee service. NEW ACOG DISTRICT XI OFFICE AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
In early November, ACOG DISTRICT XI opened a new office in Austin at 1001 Congress, Suite 340.
This office space is located one block from the Texas capital and will serve to interface the District and TAOG activities in a more visible manner in Austin where most of the action is, especially during this 82nd Legislative Session.

Additionally, JILL M. JOHNSON has been hired as the new Executive Director of ACOG District XI. Jill is an Ausinite, with years of experience in health care related activities, including advocacy, management and public relations. Jill's email is:

Karen O'Briant will continue to serve as TAOG Executive Director and will serve as Manager of Meetings and Membership for District XI. Her contact information remains the same (see this website).
